INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION - WITH STATE-OF-THE-ART SIMULATION
We're in it for the kids!
Our Mission Statement:
"Using state-of-the-art simulation technology and gaming to excite, inspire and educate the next generation of scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians.
Bryan Blackford has 11 years of experience with simulation software, particularly with iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations. In the iRacing.com service, he is ranked among the top virtual drivers in the world. In August of 2014, Blackford suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns on 30% of his body, but has recovered well!
Lisa Pineda worked and volunteered with Pinellas County Schools for over 15 years. After that, she has used her skills at informal educational institutions; science centers, museums and other non-profits. She has extensive experience with special-needs, and under-served children.
Ray Alfalla - Instructor
Ray Alfalla, 2-time World Champion in the NASCAR PEAK Antifreeze Series, is a huge supporter of our project. He's also been the most consistent driver on the oval side of iRacing.com - racking up more wins than anyone else in the NPAS. He's native of Matanzas, Cuba - immigrating to the United States when he was 6 years old!
Stephanie Lessentine has been using simulators for over a decade, with both flight and motorsport simulation software. Stephanie has volunteered as an instructor for our project. She is also a driver for Slip Angle Motorsports for the 2015 "Road to Pro" season.
